Banks DIH chips in for Judgement Day card

Banks DIH Ltd., one of the main sponsors of today’s Judgment Day Professional Boxing card at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall yesterday presented the sponsorship cheque to the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) at Thirst Park.

Peters said that Banks DIH Ltd. saw this card as a resurgence of professional boxing in Guyana and said he wished the GBBC every success in the venture.

Former world contender Howard Eastman will take on Denny Dalton in the main bout for the national middleweight title of Guyana.

Four other attractive fights are on the card organized by the GBBC.

Banks Malta, energy drink is the brand being promoted for today’s card.
