Weather permitting, golfers will tee off in the Neal and Massey 40th Anniversary sponsored tournament tomorrow at the Lusignan Golf Course.

Officials of the club disclosed that systems are in place for the tournament but they are keeping a keen eye on the weather.

The course was playable up to last Saturday when the Demerara Mutual Life sponsored tournament was played off but since then there has been rainfall on a daily basis.

Last week’s winner George Bulkan is expected to lead a large field of players for this weekend’s tournament which should also feature the likes of Maurice Solomon, Brian Gladford, Colin Ming, Prashad, Ronald Bulkan, Christine Sukhram, Alfred Mentore, Gavin Todd, Melissa Humphrey, Dr. Ram Singh, Mel Sankies, Albert Semple, Ian Gouveia, Brian Hackett, Iran Khan, Carlos Adams, and Chatterpaul Deo.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers as well as Nearest to the Pin.

Golfers are reminded to register by this afternoon at 16:30 hours with the club at 220-5660.

Stuart May, Branch Manager of Geddes Grant, a member of the Neal and Massey Group is expected to be on hand to present the prizes to the top players.

Tee off is at 12:30 hours – shot gun start.l and Massy Guyana Group comprise the following companies Associated Industries Limited (Ainlim), Demerara Oxygen Company (DOCOL), CCS, Geddes Grant, Marketing and Distribution (M&D), Security Solutions and NMSL.
