Neil Reece was the first to cross the finish line to claim victory in the Caricom Day cycle race which was organized by the Flying Ace Cycle Club and sponsored by Church’s Chicken.

Reece completed the designated route of the race which began at Church’s Chicken New Amsterdam branch and proceeded to Adventure before returning to the place of origin, in one hour 48 minutes 27 seconds.

Second place went to Gary Benjamin while Sherwin Giddings finished third and Trevor Mc Kenzie, fourth.

The BMX Open category was won by Lindsey Rigby while Shameer Karim won the 9-12 BMX category of the event which was organised by Randolph Roberts.

Reece is also expected to be participating in a three-day cycle race in Trinidad and Tobago sometime next month and will be accompanied by his manager/coach Roberts.
