The Aziza Akosua Nature resort will stage its 13th annual Emancipation swimming festival on Sunday at the Madewini Creek.
The event starts at 10am and will conclude at 6pm.
The event is being sponsored by Ansa McAl, Banks DIH and Digicel Guyana Limited.
The main event of the day will be the Carib Freedom swim which has a first prize of $20,000, a second prize of $10,000 and a third prize of $5000.
Registration will be done on Sunday.
