Once again, I agree that Klass must go, he never kicked a ball in his childhood days. I remember him from school days and its beyond my comprehension how he became president of GFF. It is unfair for any official to be riding around the world in style , while the actual players/athletes is at a status quo .
Before he goes, its only fair for him to open the books and give account to show who financed these round the world trips. If a team from Guyana was not participating, he had no right to be at any of these finals. That money should have been used to promote the game and finance the players. Guyana has a lot of land, so no field to practice on is adding insult to injury.

For years I have been saying the same thing...publicly. The Klass administration has presided over a series of ignominious defeats, stunning embarassments (remember the Sepp Blatter Incident...which I feel was the most embarassing moment in Guyana sporting history?), lack of decent player facilities at the international level, undervelopment of the game at the local, county and city level....and total unmitigated chaos in the sport.

I remember when the Guyana team were the equal of any in the caribbean. The island teams were always afraid to take on the "BG Boys" because we didnt go down easily. (Surinam was always a different matter though. May have something to do with Bacoo... I'm just saying...). Berbice, Linden, the East Coast and Bartica all had healthy vibrant leagues that produced their share of quality national players. Nowadays, Guyanese football reminds me of some old brukdown corkball that needs to be put out of its misery.

Meanwhile the man like potsalt. He shows up in Germany for the 2006 world cup, France for the Beach World Cup, South Korea for the previous world cup and on and on. Who pays? Who knows!

The man has had a good ride courtesy of the footballers of this country. If I were a sponsor, I would not put another dime into the sport in Guyana until there is a thorough housecleaning at the GFF.

Please, Mr. Klass, do the sport a favour...just ride off into the sunset and DONT look back. I will be the first person standing there waving goodbye. We dont even care what may have happened to the vast amount of resources and finances wasted under your stewardship (remember the Big Bus fiasco?). The sport can start over from scratch..JUST GO!

That is the crux of the matter. Even though some people who never played sports make excellent administrators. Blackmoore and Klass can't be considered in that group. They both possess have one strong asset. How to maintain power by playing politics with their executives and club reps. They employ the oldest ruse in the book, Divide and conquer.
As administrators they both boast of theri association with the bigwigs of the International sporting body. To hear Blackie talk of his conversations with Samaranch "that how he pronounce it) and decisions he was required to make at he IAAf conferences conjures up images of a man well connected. Klass has come afar way to become a shrewd manipulator. I must admit that. Klass for all of his negatives got Guyana out of a football debt situation with FIFA (withthe help of the Bauxite Industry then CEO Dunstan Barrow. but he did it. On theother hand Blackmoore ddug Guyana into the laughing stock of Caribbean athletics, In the USA people ask about the next Wren Gilkes. Blackie has successfully diverted the attention of the sponsors to other sports. The time has come for him to stop saying "i tired wid dis nansense" and don't seek re-election. Do us all a favor and rid athletics of the vast knowledge and contacts you possess. We have endured 20 plus years of it. Blackie my friend, I have two words for you. "Please retire.

Why was Klass at the Beach soccer finals? Does the GFF have so much money that it's president can simply go to a tournament in France or did pay for the trip himself? Only a few months ago they were asking for donations for the world cup campaigne.
I totally agree with Mr. Donald Duff, it's time for Colin to go. It time for change, i just hope the general council think so too.
