Topp XX and Peacemakers Football Clubs have advanced to the next round of the Amelia’s Ward United Invitational tournament with victories over Eagles United and Blue Berry Hill respectively at the Mc Kenzie Sports Club ground last Wednesday.

In the Topp XX/ Eagles matchup, a Kirk Murphy double in the 45th and 66th minutes along with a Sheavon Seaforth strike in the 65th minute sealed the deal for their team.

Norvel Adrian (27th) and Dellon Adrian (47th) ensured that Peacemakers advanced to the next round leaving Blue Berry Hill who started the game with 10 men and were reduced to eight following an expulsion to one of the players whilst the another one picked up an injury, in a must win situation in their encounter tonight at the same venue.

They will face host Amelia’s Ward United from 2000hrs as Milerock and Regal go head to head against each other from 1800hrs.
