This match was scheduled for the Enmore Community Centre last Sunday but had to be postponed owing to inclement weather, which left the venue in an unplayable condition.

The DCB then decided to reschedule the match since the final would further assist in the selection of the Demerara Under-17 team for the Clico Inter- County Competition set to start on September 6.

Georgetown will be led by their captain and wicket keeper batsman Dexter Solomon and he should receive valuable support from Quincy Ovid, Dellon Fernandes, Dayanand Roopnarine and left arm fast bowler Andre Stoll who displayed his batting abilities in the first game against East Coast.

Their bowling will rest on the shoulders of fast bowler Seon Daniels who has been tearing apart the opposition top order. There will also be strong support from Stoll and vice captain Carlos La Rose along with the spinners in Guyana and West Indies under-15 leg spinner Amir Khan and off spinner Ricardo Devers have proven to be tough customers, and they should be able to restrain the East Bank batting lineup.

Meanwhile, East Bank will be led by former national under-15 batsman Shameer Fazal and Kevin Singh while Leroy Edwards who will be performing the duties of wicketkeeper, has proven to be a worthy customer with the bat.

Jagdesh Bishun, the younger brother of national under-19 off spinner Totaram Bishun, is expected to lead the bowling and will receive able support from spinner Mark Anthony and fast bowler Jason Henry.

But such a match will only take place if the weather is favourable, unlike  the past couple of nights.
