The Softball ground on  Carifesta Avenue will come alive today when the inaugural District of Columbia Metro Cultural Organization (DCMCO) softball tournament commences from 10am.

Four matches are  scheduled to be contested today with two matches  being played simultaneously on the two pitches at the venue.

In the opening games,  Ariel will challenge Regal under the supervision of umpires Mark Miller and Arnold Padmore while Park Rangers will go up against Rafman with Patrick Edwards and R. Rambogobin officiating.

Trophy Stall will then oppose Ryan while Savage and Falcon will battle each other commencing at 1:30pm with umpires named earlier conducting the matches.

Each team will face a maximum of 15 overs with a bowler being allowed a maximum of three overs.

Teams are  reminded that their list of 14 players must be submitted before the commencement of their match.
