Primo’s hat-trick devastates Pele

Manasseh Primo scored a hat-trick to lead Fruta Conquerors to victory when the Georgetown Football Association’s (GFA) DeSinco Trading under-18 football tournament resumed at the Parade ground this past Sunday.

Primo rustled up two first half goals in the 25th and 33rd minutes, then struck again in the 49th minute as his team devastated Pele Football Club  7–1.

Nickel Permaul drew first blood for Conquerors in the 17th minute then Keifer Adams (20th); Jermaine Junior (52nd) and Eon Alleyne (68th) added their names to the list of goal scorers to deepen Pele’s misery.
Rawle Adams scored in the 26th minute for Pele to soil Conquerors’ custodian’s sheet.

Alpha United trampled Georgetown Football Club (GFC) 3-0 in another of the three matches contested at  the Parade ground.

A double from Mikhail Stewart who scored in the 39th and 47 minutes and Kelston Lahott who struck in the 11th minute were responsible for GFC’s downfall.

Beacon gained a walkover from Uprising in match three at the same venue after Uprising failed to make an appearance.
Meanwhile, Travis Savoury and Jamal Scott caused celebrations in the Thomas United camp after they dusted aside Santos Football Club 3-1 over at the Camptown ground. Savory recorded a double with goals in the 42nd and 58th minutes while Scott scored a 47th minute goal.

Quincy Ghanni was able to find the back of the net in the 57th minute for Santos in a valiant counter attack but it went down in vain as it was the only goal the team could produce.

Sunburst Camptown were victorious against Renaissance after they gained a walkover from them in the other encounter at the Camptown ground.
