In the first game, Alpha ‘The Hammer’ United, buoyed by their 2-0 victory over Sunburst Camptown in the final of their G$2.2m Carifesta Football extravaganza, will be looking to ascend to the top of the points table when they face Georgetown Football Club (GFC), whilst Sunburst Camptown will oppose Pele.

Alpha’s line up will include Elton Browne, Anthony ‘Awo’ Abrams, Kelvin Mc Kenzie, Quincy Madramootoo, Leon Grumble, Andrew Murray and Gordon Henry, with Ronson Williams performing duties between the uprights.

Not much is known of the Bourda Blues boys but it is expected that they will give the Alpha boys a stern test.

The Camptown/Pele clash which kicks off at 20:00hrs (8:00pm), will be a repeat of their semi final clash in the Alpha organized tournament and Pele, who lost on penalty kicks in that encounter, will certainly be out for revenge taking into consideration their uphill struggle in the tournament.

With Shemroy Arthur between the uprights and Dirk Archer, Solomon Austin, Marvin Liverpool, O’ Kenny Fraser and Troy Kellman in their line up, the Continental Group of Companies Sunburst Orange Juice-sponsored Camptown side can certainly expect a tough battle.

They will, of course,  rely on the services of their hard working defence led by captain, Orlando Gilgeous with worthy support from Sherwin Cadogan, Devon Dummett and Kester Allen, along with Troy Prescod, Marvin Joseph and Dexter Mollyneaux at the front.
