Banks DIH Ltd, looking to make it two in a row

As the Friday evening floodlights tapeball cricket series continue, local beverage giants Banks DIH will square off with furniture giants Courts in a feature 20-overs-a-side match at Thirst Park tomorrow evening.

Fresh from a nine-wicket win over Republic Bank last Friday, Banks DIH will be looking to make it two victories in a row against a “Powerhouse” line up from Courts.

The Courts team will be captained by Trevor Amadally with the other players in the line up being Premchand Mahadeo, Andrew Drayton, Leon Primo, Xavier Benjamin, Quincy King, Fazil Nazeem, Andrew Durant, Kester Williams, Troy Corbin, Damian Fraser and Ricardo Manbodh.

Banks DIH team will include Owen Grannum, Otis George, Randy Carroll, Satesh Harrinandan, Delon Cox, Seon Simpson, Steven Waldron, Glenford Stephens, Marvin Belle, Yugesh Kissoon, Jermaine Martin, Narvin Allan and Claron Monchoir.

The manager is Mortimer Stewart.

The match is billed to start at 18:00 hours and it is anticipated that another large crowd will be on hand to witness the encounter.

The prizes for the winning team and man-of-the-match have been donated by Courts.
