New date to be set for fast bowling clinic

The planned Fast bowling Clinic organized by the Guyana Cricket Board in collaboration with the `Reds’ Perreira Sports Foundation (RPSF) which was scheduled to commence yesterday and end tomorrow has been postponed.

Ezra Moseley, the former Barbados and West Indies right arm fast medium bowler who was expected to conduct the Clinic had to postpone his trip to Guyana due to unforeseen circumstances.

The RPSF who had been instrumental in facilitating Moseley’s visit is working closely with the Guyana Cricket Board to arrange a new date for the Clinic and both organizations have expressed their regret due to the postponement.

Fifteen of Guyana’s leading pace bowlers including three females are to benefit from the programme.
Local furniture giants Courts and the management of Cara Lodge who had come forward with sponsorship for the Clinic have both signalled their intention to be on board when a new date is announced.

Moseley, a pugnacious former regional pacer who played  two tests and nine One Day Internationals for the West Indies from  1990-1991 is currently a coach and junior selector in Barbados.
