BOG looking to stop DIH

Bank of Guyana will be looking to stop the marauding Banks DIH cricketers when the two teams clash today in a feature 20-overs-a-side tapeball cricket match at Thirst Park ground under floodlights.

The Banks DIH team has gone unbeaten in three matches with Correia Group All Stars being their most recent victim.

The Central Bank players are gearing themselves up for a tough contest and will be looking to come out victorious and stop the brewery giants this time round.

The bank has named a strong 15-man line up from which the final eleven will be chosen.

The players named are Imran Khan, Ganesh Sugrim, Ken Alphonso, Vickram Persaud, Samuel Wilson, Harrichand Singh, Dillon Clark, Ryan Stephney, Allister Griffith, Nicholas Murray, Ron Benjamin, Winston Hyles, Marvin Yaw, Roland Singh and Leon Belony with Carlyle Bowman as the manager.

The Banks DIH side will choose from: Owen Grannum, Otis George, Randy Carroll, Navindranauth Puran, Dillon Cox, Satesh Harrinandan, Seon Simpson, Steven Waldron, Glenford Stephens, Marvin Belle, Jermaine Martin, Narvin Allen, Yugesh Kissoon and Claron Monchoir with the manager being Samuel Britton.

Play starts at 18:00 hours and another large crowd is anticipated.
