The Rising Sun Turf Club (RSTC) will be a buzz of activity this Sunday, when the True Friendship Committee runs off its sixth annual horse race meeting at the West Berbice track from 1300hrs.

Eight (8) races are carded for the day, with three feature events with a total first place prize of $650,000 in the C and Lower Class, Three years old open and Two years old open categories respectively.

Beverage giants Banks DIH Limited along with their competitors Demerara Distillers Limited and Ansa Mc Al Limited, are the respective sponsors of the three feature races which is being run over a distance of 1400 meters each.

Other events which will be run under the rules of the RSTC are G and Lower, F and Lower, I and Lower Class and L Class respectively, with horses such as Spin and Squeeze, Sequin, Jumbo Joy, Coconut Boy, Pleasure Star, Kavinci and Shue Shuemi, all set to take the track amongst others.
