The Georgetown Basketball Association and the organisers the 2008 Supligen All-Star weekend are requesting that players and coaches of Georgetown’s junior and senior teams to report to the Burnham Basketball Court today at 4:00 pm for an important meeting.

The senior team players are: Stephon Gillis, Royston Siland and Naylon Loncke (Courts Pacesetters) Ryan Gullen, Ryan Stephney and Darcell Harris (Ravens) Kester Gomes and Travis Foster (Beepat Scorpions) along with Fabian Johnson (Nets) and Vivian Aulder (Bounty Colts).

The junior players invited are: Tyrone Hamid, Kevin Levans, Jermaine Slater and Binium Norton (Ravens), Travis Burnett, John Fraser (Courts Pacesetters) Jaime Mayers (Beepat Scorpions), Keshon Robes (Bounty Colts) Jermaine Reid (Pepsi Sonics) and Michael Thompson (Disciples).

The coaches invited are former national basketball players Lugard Mohan (seniors) and Mark Agard (juniors).

The sixth annual basketball All Star extravaganza which takes place this week-end will see the city side coming up against long time rivals Linden in both senior and junior categories Saturday and Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
