Karatekas from the Guyana Karate College (GKC) and the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) face a stiff assignment this weekend when Masters Teriyuki Okazaki and Frank Woon-A-Tai grade them for their respective promotions.

Master Woon-A-Tai, an eight Dan black belt is expected back in the country on Thursday and will carry out his grading examinations of students from the Guyana Karate College on Friday October 31 at the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) from 17:00 hours.

Master Okazaki, 10th Dan black belt will arrive on October 25 and will grade the students of YMCA on October 26 before departing for his Canada homeland the same afternoon.
