GCA cricket continues from today

Action in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) organized cricket competitions will continue this weekend, beginning from today with the De Sinco Trading sponsored Under-19 competition, whilst first division action in the Pepsi Cup 40 0vers- aside competition will be played tomorrow.
In the De Sinco Trading Limited sponsored Under-19 competition which will be played today, Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) and Cummings Lodge Secondary School will engage each other at GNIC, whilst GCC and Ghandi Youth Organization (GYO) will square off at GYO.

Tomorrow’s action which will commence at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground, Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) will take on Everest Cricket Club whilst Police Sports Club and Georgetown Cricket Club (GC) will do battle at Eve Leary in the Pepsi.

The Georgetown zone of the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) organized Hand-in –Hand limited overs competition has reached its semi final stage, and with Everest Cricket Club defeating MSC in the first semi final, they will be engaging the winner of the second semi final featuring Transport Sports Club and GCC which will be played at Everest tomorrow.
Action in the GCA/Busta sponsored 20/20 second division competition will kick-off on Sunday with five matches.

At MSC, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and Diplomats will do battle at MSC, GNIC and Police will go head to head at Everest whilst DCC and GYO will look to have a winning start when they clash at DCC in zone A action which will commence from 1000hrs.

In zone B, Everest and MSC will battle at Everest whilst Ace Warriors and GCC will clash at DCC from 1400hrs, whilst all teams are being asked to note that they will be hosting themselves as well as one umpire.
