The Rose Hall Town Bakewell second division team has continued its impressive run in the Berbice Cricket Board of Control (BCBC)/ New Building Society (NBS)-sponsored second division tournament when they defeated Port Mourant by five wickets in their latest fixture.

Playing at the Area ‘H’ ground, Port Mourant were asked to take first strike by their host and were bowled out for 106, with only opener Davendra Thakurdeen (30) and Rajendra Bolo who made an unbeaten 28 offering any resistance to the bowling of Berbice under-19 spinner Eon Andrews (5-7) and Mahendra Srikissoon (4-21).

In reply, RHT Bakewell reached 108-5 in 33 overs, with Michael Rengasami leading the way with 30 while  Hooper and Ravi Narine chipped in with 20 each. Shiv Shameer took 2-14 bowling for Port Mourant.
