The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) tonight brings down the curtains  on the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Cellink Plus Premier League with a triple header at the Tucville playfield with what is expected to be an action packed night.

Santos will tackle Uprising in the curtain raiser at 4:00pm while Sunburst Camptown will challenge the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and then Alpha United will  tackle  Fruta Conquerors. Alpha United on 30 points will be looking to win tonight’s encounter to stay on top of the other teams to cart off  the 2008 Cellink Plus trophy while the GDF (29) still have  legitimate expectations  counting on an Alpha United defeat.

Camptown (26) on the other hand are in contention for a second place finish if they happen to defeat the army squad.

The Georgetown Football Club (GFC) are fourth with 18 points, Conquerors – 16, Pele – 13, Santos – 6 and Uprising – 5.
