The lone semi final and subsequent final of the inaugural Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC)/Ansa Mc Al sponsored 10/10 cricket tournament will be played tomorrow at the Area ‘H’ Ground, Rose Hall.

The semifinal which starts at 11am involves Albion Sports Club and Port Mourant Cricket Club.
The winner will oppose tournament host Rose Hall Town Windies Sport Bar in the final from 2pm.
Albion has a powerful batting line-up led by test player Narsingh Deonarine and including Imran Khan, Jonathan Foo, Ramnarine Chattergoon, Ranga Lachigadoo and Doodnauth Lallbeharry.

Left-arm orthodox spinner Veerasammy Permaul and right-arm, leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo are expected to lead a spin-based attack which includes Deonarine, Foo, Orvin Mangru and Sahadeo Somai.

Port Mourant are known to create major upsets and would be keen to do so against their major rivals Albion.
They will rely on former West Indies leg spinning all rounder Mahendra Nagamootoo, Homchand Pooran, Moshin Peerkhan, Devendra Thakurdeen, Rajiv Ivan and Sameer Khan to do so.

Pacer Yogindra Harrinarine will lead the bowling attack with support from Nagamootoo, Pooran and off-spinners Rajendra Bolo, Ivan and Khan.
RHTWSB, who are expected to pay keen attention to the semifinals will be led by brothers Esaun and Royston Crandon along with middle order batsman Assad Fudadin.

Added support in the batting line-up will come from Renwick Batson, Delbert Hicks, Andre Percival, Khemraj Mahadeo and Jason Sinclair.
Skipper Esaun Crandon would share the new ball with Batson while support would come from spinners Royston Crandon, Fudadin, Percival, Ravi Narine, Eon Hooper and Troy Matheison.

The winner would receive $100,000 in cash along with $100,000 in educational and hygiene kits while the runner up will receive $50,000 in cash and the same in amount in kits.

The losing semi finalist would receive $15,000 and the man-of-the-match in the final, $10,000.
The tournament has been organized by the Cricket Development Committee of the RHTYSC and sponsored by Ansa Mc Al whose regional manager for Berbice would meet the teams before the final.
