The Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) has short-listed their team that will take on Berbice in a 20/20 clash this Sunday at the Rose Hall Canje ground for the Basil Butcher/Deryck Murray trophy from 2:00pm.

The game is being organized as part of the day’s activities to mark the launching of the Basil Butcher Educational Fund by the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) Special Events Committee.

Both Murray, who is the president of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) and who will be delivering the feature address at the launching and Butcher are expected to roll back the years and participate for the Berbice team.

Demerara will be led by national off spinner Zaheer Mohammed and will include Krishna Arjune, Ravi Sarwan, Orin Forde, Krishna Deosarran, Travis Blyden, Kellon Carmichael, Sauid Drepaul, Troy Gonsalves, Joseph Perry, Jeremiah Harris, Rayon Griffith and Surujpaul Deosarran.
The team will be managed by Ian John with former national middle order batsman Ravindranauth Seeram performing the duties of coach.  John has asked that the players named  be at the Everest Cricket Club ground tomorrow from 1:00pm for a practice session.
