The Berbice Cricket Board of Control (BCBC) has selected a 14-man squad from which the final 11 will be chosen to oppose Demerara in the specially arranged Basil Butcher/Deryck Murray 20/20 cricket match at Rose Hall Canje ground on Sunday.

The game, which is being sponsored by Ansa Mc Al Limited  is being held as part of the day’s activities to mark the launching of the Basil Butcher Educational Fund by the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) Special Events Committee, will commence at 13:30 hrs.

The 14-man squad reads: Paul Wintz, Maxie De Jonge, Jonathan Foo, Ranga Lachigadoo, Homchand Pooran, Richard Ramdeen, Delbert Hicks, Devon Clements, Devendra Bishoo, Quesi Maltay, Michael Newland, Seon Hetmyer, Eugene La Fleur and Balram Samaroo.

National under-19 coach Hubern Evans will act in the capacity of coach while vice president of the BCBC David Black will perform the duties of manager.
