Rangers Sports and Wolf Warriors continued their terrific form and it has this far gotten them both into the Guyana Softball League (GSL) organized Memorex enterprise 15over Softball League Tournament.
Wolf Warriors defeated Hyde Park SC by eight wickets and Rangers clubbed Hustlers by a massive nine wicket victory at the Den Amstel ground.

After winning the toss, WW gave Hyde Park the opportunity to bat first and they found themselves in some early trouble with Mandolall Doodnarine and Ramesh Rambharose who bowled terrifically early on to finish with 4-20 and 4-23 respectively.

Hyde Park eventually got to 81 in 14.3 overs with Dinesh Lalliram and Gibran Mohamed top scoring with 27 and 26 respectively and being involved in a 53-run partnership.

When Wolf’s Warriors took to the crease, they devoured their prey in 7.3 overs, racing to scoring 82-2 with Balbinder Persaud leading the way with a solitary 28.

Reigning Demerara Softball Champions RSC also stormed into the national quarter-finals after reaching a 104 run target set by Hustlers who they bowled out in 14.4 overs.
HPSC never had a chance of settling with Jagmohan Singh rustling up 4-17 for RSC while Altaf Trotz put up some resistance with a fighting 30.

RSC got off to a flyer and sailed past their target in 6.5 overs losing one wicket in the process with Ameer Nizamudeen climbing to his second successive half century (51*) and he received some supported from Zaheer Hanif who made a sterling 39.

In the Georgetown zone Trophy Stall XI inflicted a six wicket trashing on Farm Masjid XI bowling them out for a rock-hard 153-6 in 15 overs with Vivian Bisoon (59) and Imtiaz Mohamed (35) top scoring against Mark Fung who took 2-39 and the rest of the TS XI bowling attack.

Trophy Stall then got to 154-4 in 14.2 overs with Fung made a blistering 73 to added to his good-quality bowling figures and Mark Harold (63) leading the way with a fantastic 139-run opening partnership.
Banks DIH then crowned Tradesmen XI by three wickets after chasing down a 128 run target in14.2 overs.
In other results Better Hope “B” defeated Rockets XI by seven wickets, Regal XI received a walkover from Timehri, Trophy Stall XI trashed Better Hope “B” by 9 wkts and Regal XI defeated Banks DIH by 54 runs.
