The D’Edward Cricket Club of West Berbice will be hosting a 10/10 cricket competition involving six teams this Sunday at the D’Edward ground from 09:00hrs.

The teams that will be competing for the $30,000 and first place trophy are D’Edward ‘A’ and ‘B’, Numbers 2 and 11, Unity/Crabwood Creek and Bush Lot cricket teams.

The second place team in the competition will receive $15,000 and a trophy.

Added prizes include the Man of the Match, Play of the Day, Play of the Finals, Most Sixes, Highest Individual Scores and Most Wickets. Each of them will receive a trophy.

Apart from the cricket competition, there will be some side attractions, including a dominoes competition, ring throwing competition and a bowl off among spectators prior to the start of the finals.

No entrance fee is required to the day’s activities, which will also see the club’s raffle being drawn.
