Rose Hall Town Windies Sports Bar (RHTWSB) and defending champions Albion Community Centre (ACC) will meet in the Berbice zone final of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Gafoors 20/20 competition today.

The final will be played at the Port Mourant Community Centre ground and, judging from the performances of some key players in the recently-concluded GCB/Pepsi/Carib Beer inter-county 20/20 competition, a keen battle can be anticipated.

Donning the West Indies look-a-like maroon colours for Albion will be national middle order batsman Narsingh Deonarine, Ramnarine Chattergoon, Jonathan Foo, Veerasammy Permaul, Devendra Bishoo, Ravi Shastri and Orvin Mangru.

But RHTWSB can look to the likes of Esaun and Royston Crandon, Assad Fudadin, Delbert Hicks, Renwick Batson, Khemraj Mahadeo, Troy Matheison and Andre Percival to appear in their blue and yellow outfits  as they seek to turn back the challenge of ACC. The action will get underway from 13:30hrs and, with a place in the national semifinals being up for grabs, cricket fans in the Corentyne area can expect an action filled encounter from both teams.
