The jointly-sponsored Ministry of Education/ National Sports Commission/ Guyana Cricket Board/ Guyana Teachers Association Inter-Secondary Schools Under-15 40 overs-a side cricket competition continued recently with matches in Districts Six and 15 in Berbice.

Medium pacer Keenan Seegobin took 6-20 as School of the Nations New Amsterdam (SON/NA) bowled out Canje Secondary School (CSS) for a paltry 74 in 25 overs. However, he watched as his efforts went in vain as the batsmen made an absolute mockery of their target.

School of the Nations crashed to  49 all out with left-arm spinner Kwesi Parris taking 5-17 for CSS.

Kevon Jawahir, an off spinner from Berbice High School took 5-25 from eight overs to help restrict Vryman’s Erven Secondary to 127 all out in 24 overs.

Berbice High made heavy weather of the target as Romario De Jonge grabbed 5-25 and Orlando Tanner 3-30 and were bowled out for 123 from 20 overs.
