Hope Street Tiger Bay defeated East Front Road in a nail-biting encounter that concluded in a sudden death shootout while Albouystown dominated Globe Yard in a 4 – 1 final result.

Tonight the tournament champions will be decided when Albouystown meets Tiger Bay in the final while Globe Yard and East Front Road will collide in the third place showdown at the National Park Tarmac.

It is said that Hope Street and East Front Road contested the most exciting match of the tournament as it ended in a sudden death shootout after both teams were deadlocked at 1 – 1 at the regulation and extra time whistles.
Tiger Bay’s Shawn Bishop and EFR’s Andy Duke scored in the 17th and 13th minutes respectively to send the game into extra time.  At the end of the five-a-side penalty kick-off the game went into a triple sudden death shootout where Tiger Bay came out victorious after Bishop scored the final goal for his team.

In match one it was a one-sided affair with Albouystown storming into the final led by a terrific double by Devon Booker (11th and 14th minutes). He was supported by Andrew Murray Jr. (4th) and Renaulth Fraser (7th) while Mark Scott scored a ninth minute goal for Globe Yard to avoid a clean sweep for his team. The finals will be on from 11pm tonight with the third place showdown kicking off at 9pm while at 10pm there will be an entertainment session featuring Big Red and First Born.
