Undertakers last night picked up the body of a man found lying on the Garden of Eden public road.
Up to press time, the body, which was taken to the Lyken Funeral Parlour at around 8.10 pm, had not been identified. It remains unclear whether the man was the victim of a hit and run or some other fate.
This newspaper understands that a contingent of Police ranks was standing guard over the body until the arrival of the hearse.
