A man who unlawfully had in his possession a quantity of ammunition was remanded to prison when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Romel David pleaded guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of ammunition when it was read to him by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.

It is alleged that on May 8 David had in his possession twelve 9mm rounds without being the holder of a valid licence. David was remanded to prison and the matter will continue on July 30.
