The body of the man found on Wednesday at the foreshore of the Kitty seawall was yesterday identified as Ray Bacchus.

Bacchus’s body was discovered at around 4 pm by a man who contacted the police and when Stabroek News arrived on the scene several police officers were there conducting investigations.

Officers were seen examining a black, white and red sweater found near the body along with a pair of white sneakers.

The body was on its back and clad in a black sweat pants and a white t-shirt.

The deceased man’s mother, Olive Boodhoo, identified his body at the Lyken’s Funeral Parlour yesterday.
