A 52-year-old who allegedly indecently assaulted a female was remanded to prison when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
Brian Rankin of 139 Regent Street, Lacytown, Georgetown pleaded not guilty to the charge of indecent assault when it was read to him by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.

It is alleged that on April 17 in Georgetown Rankin indecently assaulted a female.
He was refused bail and the matter is to continue on September 23.

    these cases in the Guyana courts does put off too long. here in trinidad its about 10 days or a little more. these criminals are taken too long to be put to justice
