Great Going!!!! Although we need the bridge to be completed soon, guys take your time and do an excellent job.
the waiting days to cross with the ferry or barge will soon be o’er. Can sleep a bit later to get to Suriname now. No more 3:00 departure from home hoping to catch the 6:00 ferry

Now, lets move forward with the Freedom of Information Bill, Broadcasting Legislation – facilitating private broadcasters, proffesionalise the Police Force and make it accountable to parliament, build the capacity of and strengthen the judiciary, support and finance micro and medium businesses, particularly agro business, to help lift the poor out of poverty, economic insecurity and desperation.
The above are inseparable in providing the progress,stability and security the society needs.

If it’s such great news why don’t you guys come back home. I still think we have not learned from the lessons taught by the Demarara Harbor bridge. The parable of the man who built his house on sand seems applicable here. From what I heard on the streets in Berbice, a permanent bridge by the narrows in the vicinity of the Berbmine plant made a whole lot more sense.

Excellent News:
I was not aware that shipping traffic, would be able to pass unimpeded under the high span of this bridge. This is a truly excellent project which will mean people would not have to wait in humiliation for the ferry any longer.

This daring project is a fitting signature for the current administration. Well done the brave souls who conceived and orchestrated this freedom for Berbicians!
