The President has no choice – it’s not as though he can negotiate with mother nature!!! If the sea rises any further, there will no more Guyana, so he better think fast!

Dont No Bout 12/21/12, However, Infacstructure Mgnt is greatly lacking. I Remember as a kid all this water Pumps that used to be functional.
Last few years rains is flooding guyana, all those canals are choked with Crap
Ive seen it with my own eyes
I Read that those old kokers are falling apart, U gotta be Kidding me….. Folks run for tha hills, this gon get worst before it get better…..

many things can be done by self help program.

guyana can use cow dung in cattle,pig areas for methane gas,

recycle cow dung.
plant a fruit tree when a child is born,within 3 years will be the garden city again.

every body plant a tree.

….. i must disagree with the speculation of the President ! on his theory of having to spend billions to adapt to climate change ,,,,,,

NOT IF THE BILLIONS IS SPENT ON MOVING THE NATION TO THE HILLS !!!!!!!

her’s the abc 123 ,, of this ! to make safe the coast from the continued force of the rising tides of the atlantic ,, — which is not going to relent anytime soon ! — the money required to effect this safety net for all who live on the coast will be a “band-aid” solution to a wound that is in need of emergency care !

imagine this scenario ! what would happen if during the pattern of rainfall as it relates to the Amazon and the draining of the largest water shed on the planet ,, of which GY is a part ,, and the tide is high,,,,from the atlantic ,, and the rains continue for extended periods ,, as is known to happen from time to time ,,,,,,,,

just try to pic this in ur mind and see if u live in GY how menacing this scenario is ,,,,,,,,, for more on this ,,, see if u can make sense out of what “google ” tells u abt DECEMBER 21, 2012 !!!!!!
