MOODYGIRL, I’VE SPENT MY FIRST FEW YEARS GROWING UP IN GUYANA UNTIL I LEFT IN 1991. TO THIS DAY, NOTHING ACHIEVED BY THE GPF GIVES ME ANYTHING TO REJOICE ABOUT. AS A BOY GROWING UP IN A DRUG-INFESTED GHETTO, I’VE STUDIED THE INNER WORKINGS OF COUNTLESS POLICE OFFICERS WHO BREACHED THE LAW RIGHT BEFORE THE EYES OF KIDS LIKE MYSELF.
TAKING PAYOFFS WAS A BIG DEAL THEN, SO WHO’S TO SAY THAT THIS GUY ARRESTED AT LINDEN WOULD NOT PAY HIS WAY OUT OF HIS DILEMMA?

GUYANA’S JUSTICE SYSTEM NEEDS A MAJOR OVERHAUL.

If you follow your news diligently you would have seen the headline in this newspaper on July 28th, 2008 – Moral and psychosocial training underway for Buxton youths. Furthermore Ministry of Education did a similiar camp about 2 years ago in Buxton….for your information my friend.
