I think a fast n expeditious trial by judge n jury with view of the death penalty or life would suffice for justice for all the surviving relatives.Folks let justice prevail for no man is a law unto himself n two wrongs don’t make it right ok.

This story touched my heart deeply and I am very pleased that the criminal has been brought to stand trial. I hope the judge gives the maxium sentence to this lawless and unfeeling killer who has shattered countless lives in his quest for greed. Guyana justice system needs revamping to accomodate the harsh crimes done by these mercenary killers.

I hope this brings closure to the Ali and Singh families.

Two honest taxpaying dead businessmen for one criminal who can possible still kill again. What’s the maths here fellows. ” I got me a gun, I can make easy money”. Yeah what power it is to simply put a gun to a man’s head and watch him turn his money over to you. The playing field must be leveled, even if some innocent makes the sacrifice. Anyway, to the GPF ..good work. My sympathies to all their families.

These scums are walking amongs the general public , just looking and observing every move you make , then strikes when they get the chance. The government needs to develop a plan to Identify and extract these scums from our society and save lives.

I think that the people of guyana cannot do what is deemed right . why can’t they walk the streets freely as the bandits do without fear. They have worked hard to earn what they have , so why can’t they enjoy their lives, If they want a new car , they have to be afraid of the bandits, who will come and demand whatever they have because they see that a person buy a car. These bandits walk, do what ever thay want to do and yet when ever they are caught the family always says that they are innocent. I think the force is doing good, but sometimes there are criminal elements within the the force who sre corrupting the force and giving it a bad name.
this individual did not deserve to die like this, he was a humble person, who was always willing to help in society, his family. words cannot describe this individual and how much he is missed. what about his wife and children, who will take of them. Some of these criminals have children all over the place, so there is no love in their heart for others.

Two families had to loose a loved one before this allegedkiller was caught. He roamed the streets for over a year after killing my uncle to yet allegedly kill another business man. The business people in Guyana cannot make an honest living without worrying about someone else wanting what they have.
What the killer did has ripped our entire family apart and left everyone who loved my uncle so dearly is pain forever. My uncle was taken away from us in May 2007 just one day before his 49th birthday, a day I will never forget for as long as I live.
I hope the Guyana court system will give our family peace of mind by handing down the appropriate justice in this case. The appropriate justice would be for my uncle’s killer to rot in jail forever or just hang him. He did not think twice before taking my uncle or Mr. Alli’s life so why should he be shown any mercy.

I find it hard to understand why in these modern times so many “business persons” still seem to be stuck in a time warp, carrying large sums of money around. Have they never heard of checking accounts and checkbooks? If they are smart enough to run businesses why aren’t they smart enough to write checks?
