Where is the reasoning of these officials? Here you have a sick person, yet that person is remanded to prison where it is unlikely that proper medical attention would be given. Where is sense and sensibility in this? Was the ammunition in the room occupied by these individuals? No it seems from the report. Why did the police search the hotel without a search warrant? Regular abuse of police powers componded by what appears to be rough treatment. Come on Guyana, we live in a civilized world. The case of remanding persons on the flimsiest of reason befoggles me.
