This 75 years old man was my mother’s brother who came to the ‘big apple’ a few years ago for a better life for himself, kids, and grandkids. He worked all his life as a book keeper in GT and could not retire comfortable. In fact he never even owned a car in GT. Sad that he died while trying to fulfil his dreams in his golden age. May God rest his soul.

The 72 year old guy is trying to become part of American History and it will probably get him more tired than he already looks…..The 75 year old man should have been home enjoying his golden years. You make a good comment about America and Retirement, but even if that is the case……why are so many people still fighting to get here?

STONE P, you have hit the ball for a huge six! nobody living in north america is so poor that their parents, grandparents, or anyone belonging to them, should, at the age of 75!!! be toiling for a living!! even worse, having to use public transportation! poor, very poor people in beautiful guyana, look after their loved ones a lot better!! unless this old man was on his own, he is in a better place now.

Yep, your own post says it all. In America there is justice, not always the way we want it to be though.
I knew what real justice is, I grew up in Guyana before Burnham and his PNC creeps control the courts…and when I left GT, I lived in other countries that had real justice before coming to America.

My sympaties to this man’s family. However, I have to wonder why a 75 year-old man is employed as a security guard at JFK international airport. This gentleman should have been retired, enjoying his golden years instead of having to catch a bus to get home from work.
