I am sorry and scared for all the families in Guyana. This is a another very sad day in Guyana. Lyken is a very good funeral home and one should be aware if they have family in Guyana that the criminals have no limits, churches, old people and now funeral homes. I just buried my mother got great service from Gordon and his staff. It was very good his daughter and D was not there. Hired help is no longer like it use to be and the question is who can be trusted. One migrates back to Guyana and this is what end up happening. The police should be involved in finding the criminals rather than always begging for tap up. We will see who gets arrested in this case. Does any of you guys know this man has a charity organization and give lots of donations to children, women and persons with HIV right there in Guyana. Lets not be so funny, but I agree he should come back to USA rather than waste his talents and education as an engineer in that country. I was suprised on my visit to Guyana after meeting him and his family that he would live in that place, called “The Wild Wild West.

LONG AGO A WATCHMAN IS A WATCHMAN.MEANING HE KEEP WAKE THE WHOLE NIGHT.THEY NEVER HAD A BENCH OR HAMMOCK OR OFFICE TO SIT IN.THEY STAND UP AD WALK THE WHOLE NIGHT.

Lyken and the Police needs to check at the LeRepentiar Cemetery –maybe the “sleeping souls ” needs some entertainment and stole the TV . Maybe it is paid back time for Lyken .

My brother and I went to Guyana to pay respect to our parents who are decease, when we got to the cemetry we were both outrage at the terrible condition such as overgrown trees and lots of bush. We were unable to enter and locate our parents tomb. Something need to be done about that terrible situation, the city council need to be held responsible.

Hey, this story of sleeping like a dead, I lyken it.

On a serious note, it was indeed a good thing Gordon was dead asleep upstairs. Maybe if he was resurrected from his slumber, those guys could have retaliated and send him downstairs in one of those freezing drawers for a permanent rest.

People are dying everyday, he is going to get money to replace those things. Next time before you shut your eyes, shut your door.

Seems strange that Lyken’s mistake of leaving his door open (just this once)would be a sure cue for some unkowns(more than one person would have to remove stuff or make many trips) to come in and remove his belongings.Man ghosts r for lil boys big men don’t talk so.The ghost is for real but I think it is a well calculated robery and someone either was staking out the place or they got inside help.Lyken should start by checking out his employees first.The police should get some good fingerprints taken and they could match them with some of the workers too as suspects even the watchman.I’ll watch to see what happens next.

Guy123 I with you there son, I was thinking the same thing… what Lyken should do is go and do a through search of his funeral parlor downstairs. Fuh all yuh know a couple a dem dead man awake and rob de place. It might even be a couple roaming spirits who did like the send off that they get at Lyken funeral parlor and decide fuh tek revenge.

Leh we seh dat Lyken did ’stiff’ one a dem dead people relatives over a funeral dat was there. An yuh know in Guyana how some people dere does see and talk to the dead right? An dey tell dem dead relatives dat Lyken stiff dem and is come back dem dead man come back and tek revenge.

Lyken and de guard betta be glad dat dey did sleepin deep deep or else dey might a be really sleepin de long sleep today suh. :)
