Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle granted $170,000 bail to a truck driver accused of forging a driver’s licence.

Twenty-nine-year-old Troy Osmond, of 151 Middle Road, La Penitence, pleaded not guilty to the charges of forgery and uttering forged documents when he appeared at Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on August 8, at Georgetown, Osmond uttered to Nigel Mohamed a forged driver’s licence knowing same to be forged and with intent to defraud.

The prosecution made no objections to bail.

Osmond was ordered to appear in court on October 9.
