The reward on one of the dead was G$ 5,000,000.00 you know what the Police gave me G$ 500,000.00 in 2007 after intervention by persons that knew those up there responsible for the reward. By the way, "I was a civilian then and still am now" They said the Police had to get a part of the reward. Why should we have to reward these agencies (financially) to perform duties for which they are paid to do in their normal line of duty? It has created a dangerous precedent in the area of crime fighting and law enforcement. How are we to know that these agencies will not now impose a bounty on vulnerable citizens every time the country is faced with a crisis related to law enforcement and the fight against crime? The "inverted society" of which I wrote a few years ago has reached its zenith. May God help our country!
