if you guys should read and understand the law . a judge will have to issue the order for the phone company to record conversation .the police will have to show the judge reasons they want to tap a special phone number

Badlall –this is used by all developed countries –used by the security forces to garthner information . In the US –is it called the Freedom Act . It is also used in Canada —welcome to the Real world guys . the Govt and the crime buearau used it as a tool in combating crime . Dont be a hypocrite Badlall –the Previous regime used it also .

As I have always said, SN bloggers fall into two catagories, you can call them pro-whatever. You can judge them from what comet out of their mouths (blogs). I wish this thing was in effect a long time ago so we would have known when some of these “prominent persons” were planning some of their illegal activities. DO NOTHING FEAR NOTHING or better say nothing fear nothing. I say congratulations to whoever is responsible in getting this bill passed. One more nail in the coffin of the pro-criminals. Don’t let them distract you from your crime fighting PPP/Rohee/Green etc etc. The majority is behind you.

Wiretapping, as I see it ,is, “all the better to hear you.”And for the opposition and criminal interests sections,like they say in Guyana,concerning wiretapping,”it good fuh yuh.” The entire issue boils down to this. If you are not doing anything wrong,why are you worried about wiretapping?

Joe is understand what you are saying, if so was the case then that was a wrong approach. For example, I have an allergic reaction to Iodine it gives me hives when I take it.

Is this “news report explaining cancers of the mouth being caused by oral sex” is an observation or facts? If that’s a fact, then a lot of people will missed eating sushi lol. Thank you for the insight Joe!

Thanks for the update, but let me state this, the original plan was to vaccinate all young girls coming into puberty, until they found that the girls were experiencing all sorts of side effects. They did not conduct extensive tests, to find out all of the consequences, they were more concerned to find out our response to mass innoculations.

A friend told me of a recent news report explaining cancers of the mouth being caused by oral sex. So already they are directing the cause away from the HPV vaccine.

I am willing to surrender a little bit of what is subjectively known as my human rights so that I and my country can enjoy more security from terrorists, criminals and mass murderers. History is replete with cases where, when people are faced with a national or international crisis, they are called upon to sacrifice some privileges, freedoms and rights, albeit only temporarily. Churchill’s call to England comes to my mind.
In any case, the Bill is fitted with a few protective conditions. And I don’t hear the citizenry of that bastion of Human Rights complaining about a similar law they have.

Joe this is what you say “they are now forcing young girls to take a HPV vaccine” you are wrong. My teenage daughter had your annual check up and her Doctor told us about the HPV and gave literature to read about side effects etc.

Is the teenage and parents choice, whether or not to take the vaccine, so you’re wrong on that. Get your facts straight.

GTTC got modern equipment, and the cellular system is better than some US cell companies – its GSM, 3G and higher. Some of your major networks still usin CDMA which is dated!!

This is a blatant disregard & further infringement on human rights. Who & what will determine the urgency & need to disregarding the steps of abtaining a warrant before tapping a person’s phone? From treason charge to this! This is a subtle way of outlawing freedom of speech. Sharma, Lincoln & others take note. So much for democracy. My problem is not with d introduction of d bill but d need for due process before enacting it & d imminent abuse of it by the powers that be.

You would do well to recheck that dictionary then figure what in Guyana has true relation to that dictionary’s definition.

amen-ra, I am familiar with the Ben Franklin quote, and it applies perfectly here. This is outrageous, freightning and disgusting. They are jailing young people for being promiscous with their peers, they are calling for a ban on cigaretettes,now this.

They are also planning to impose a carbon tax on the world. They will again create an agency that will label third world countries as the worst polluters and impose a world tax.

Little by tlttle they are eroding all our freedoms, soon we will all be tied in a straight jacket of hopelessness, because we believe that we should be afraid.

There are no terrorists, 9/11 is a hoax. ‘the axis of evil” are trying to develop a single nuclear bomb, while those that accuse them of being evil, have enough to destroy the world 100 times over.

We are not afraid, go ahead and press the red button and blow the planet to the far reaches of the universe. God will not even blink, instead he will say good riddance.

What bothers me is that our leadership, are totally clueless, to the designs of the New World Order, they are playing right into their trap, while thinking that they are endowed with brilliant ideas.

The previous two Governments did not care about the rights of the people, and this one is no different. During Burnham, days, when you talk too much about them on the phone, they would just cut you off. Listening to your conversation is common practice in Guyana. Probably why they don’t want another telephone company in the country.
