In light of all the developments above, the costs involved in improving security at the hospital, the trauma to staff and nurses alike, I would urge the Ministry of Health and Guyana Public Service Union GPSU to bring civil suits against the perpetrators for the crimes committed against the two nurses that triggered this massive problem. Although I am sure security was not at it’s best and needed improving anyway, the side cost of trauma and suffering by the victims and lost of medical care by patients should be considered. A monetary price should be attached to this civil suit and the criminals made liable to pay the organisations suing them. This way they will be indebted for the rest of their lives nad on probation for another fifteen years after release from prison, not forgetting included on the National Registry of Sex Offenders, along with supporting photographs and their current addresses so CITIZENS can know who they are and where they live. Do like Fidel Castro did, have a separate area or village where such scum reside by themselves, not with the general populace.
