Business as usual .. the good ole boy network at work .. the government ‘bourgeoise will keep getting richer and live in PRADOVILLE enjoying the good life off of illbegotten gains while the poor continues to get poorer and starve in their shantytowns … who knows how much he made off of each contract .. shave a little bit off of the top please … if you wanna get rich in Guyana join the government and share in the graft .. like they say in my favorite commercial for the Outback Steakhouse “NO RULES JUST RIGHT” ..

Compai, if you’re implying that it was done in the past so it’s ok to do so now I will say this. Had this been done by the PNC/R under LFS Burnham heads would’ve rolled. Burnham WALKED through the villages & listened to their complaints & solutions were provided. If he attempted to award contracts in like manner it would’ve been more than blatant especially in the light of his ethnic minority so ‘deja eso’

An octagenarian who also happens to be a senator in the US was sentenced just a few days ago for failure to declare the “progs” he got while in office. If this were to be applied to our local scenario we’ll have to make a ‘government’ detention center for all the individuals who will be boarded there. This batch of corrupt officials from top to bottom have obviously no shame which will blot out their need for class & ultimately obliterate all sense of guilt regardless of how blatant their corrupt acts are.

As I said, that contractor got the insiders working for him. What ‘engineer’? Tell me how many regions have qualified engineers? Somebody do a check. You will find a lot of old foremen who could barely add 2 and 2? You bet your life they collecting the 10% contingency in advance! Shameless!

So we see how it is done!!!! Have our own installed at the top (filter level) so even if Corlette dreams of passing any of the reputable contractors he may know, the filter stops them. We then have our own come together in small groups to review each other’s estimates as well as any Corlettes nominees may have. That way ‘ours’ is always within range.
Isn’t this illegal? Isn’t this a form of criminal activity? Doesn’t this set a precedent for criminals, thieves & fraudsters to have a field day? This bunch is obviously playing with our laws. Who does the auditing of their financial activities? Is there any real paper trail to see who benefits from these activities?
PEOPLE WILL RETALIATE IN THE FACE OF UNFAIRNESS. Especially if those who are supposed to be responsible for fairly awarding these contracts do not fulfill their mandate FAIRLY.

Mr. Shafdar Ali is Regional Executive Officer, Clerk and Chairman of the Board as well as Chief Accounting Officer .. can you believe this ? This gentleman has FOUR jobs .. now tell me is this a joke ? And we wonder why Guyana is as screwed up as it is. No wonder there is obvious favoritism in the process of awarding contracts.. this is NOT ROCKET SCIENCE .. and an insult to people’s intelligence. This is just like the good ole wild west days .. prosecutor, judge, jury and executioner … of contracts no doubt.
