… a closer check will find that the police has his hands in more than just the law !

of all the homes on both side of the street ,, and ,, by the toss of a coin his home was chosen ,, they know more abt this cop ,, than we do ,, they “cased” his place
and when they know he is at home they made their strike !

he is either a firm and upright police ,, who got marked for a vendetta ,, or he took something from someone ,, that he need to return,,,,

I remember as a child growing up we knew our meter reader….just like we did our postman… there was that one man that came to read the meter at a certain time of the month . I guess things have changed. Now even though it is wise to check out uniforms , identification badges and suspicious signs before you let a meter reader in sometime it is difficult to detect what is real from what is fake…I guess insticnt will be your best jude here…Stay safe

Typical TV-watching “wanna-be” “as-seen-on -TV” crooks. Funny thing though; if the crooks have been learning and adopting so much negative behaviour from television, how come the victimised public doesn’t seem to be learning self-protection just as equally?

Regardless of what the reports say …these bandits met justice because this cop had a gun and knew how to use it…we need to arm our citizens …this scourge will only go away when the bandits realize that the law abiding citizens of this country are armed and ready for them..

Nice work, I feel good giving kudos to some of the POLICE still existent in the FOOLICE force. It seems today’s news has quite a few positives even though I thought that after giving his endorsement, not that it meant anything to Barack, that our “head of state” would’ve had a prepared congratulatory message for today’s print.

how come the police were so prompt was it because it was a police being robbed?.
normaly we don’t have a vehicle or no police is available or better no one answering 911.
isw there a special number to call?. please let us in on it.

(HISTORY IS BEING MADE) this goes to show the extent in which thieves would go to robb you and one must be prepared at all times in guyana, as the situation now is very sad, being brought on by the high cost of living and the inavailability of jobs, ect,ect. i wish the police officer a speedy recovery, who i believe is very brave.

Its about that time of the month too when GPL visits your home to read the meter, most people will have second thoughts of letting them into their yards. I am happy that at least one was caught and no one was killed. The police did a great job on responding immediately.
