We can spend the rest of the day debating whether ……….”The cops just went in to Agricola and get the first guy they could find and then proceeded to beat the crap out of him” as offered by the blogger SWAT, or we could decide to give the police the necessary equipment to conduct proper interrogations using polygraph test and the like.

This is absolutely necessary because if we are going to resume hanging these creeps then there need to be a 100% certainty that the innocent is not executed.

Give them a fair trial, and if found guilty then hang them by the balls.

The thing is, does the political leadership in Guyana (all sides) have the nerves to do this or must we put our tails between our legs and say yes to “massa” and all their “human rights” crap?

Sometimes it is not only all about the parents. Granted all parents have a significant role in their children’s lives, but what happens when the parents do all of the above like you mention and the result is like the case above. Who do we blame when the children who are not children anymore disregard all they were taught as a child and chose a life of crime. What happens when these adults and young adults makes these really bad decisions to indulge in a life of crime? Who do we blame then? Someone has to be responsible and ultimately those young men are each responsible for their actions.

It is very sad what they did to the young lady.

Parent/s, parent/s, what training are u giving these youths of today, u cannot begin to straighten a tree after it has already grown, you have to start from the inception of the first stalk that shoots up from the earth.

Parent/s, you need to constantly check where your kids are, who are their friends/associates.

Parent/s you need to be sure they attend school daily, check the schools, attend school meetings.

Parent/s you need to have them in church from birth, there will
be a difference, point them to God, is that too much to do,? being poor is not a crime, we were never rich kids, but we all came out the old fashion way, some of us had one pair of shoes for school and one for church, all of us did our best as human beings, yep!, without a father’s figure, seven kids mom delivered, all are doing great, so please parent/s don’t give me that poor talk, we can write a book, our mom did domestic work, sewed clothes also to make a living, pinched our ears when we stepped out of line, the school used the cane in those days, our mother never attacked the teachers, and we couldn’t complain to her, we would have had the rest for disobeying the rules in school.

Parent/s always finds the lawyer’s fees, instead of pointing the kids to God.

i agree with you SOESDYKE, the men should be dealth with so severly that others woukd know what would happen to them when the commit crimes. such a young woman looses her life at the hands of these lawless men. Agricola is like buxton now.

The police should have gotten some speaiclist not “rougher uppers”to grill the men they caught and make them say whether or not ther are responsible for this woman’s death…….He will run to court on remand possibly for the next 2 years before they start to get anyway with this matter.
