Persons posting mail overseas for Christmas, must do so by December 11.
In a press release issued yesterday, the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) issued its closing dates for both local and overseas mail.

The GPOC said the closing date for overseas mail is December 11, while the closing date for local mail is December 20.

The release said the GPOC cannot guarantee the delivery of mail before Christmas Day if it is posted after the given dates. It urged citizens to post mails before the closing dates to avoid delays.
