A six-month-old girl died on Saturday after being left unattended by her father at their Nappi Village, Central Rupununi home.

Dead is Glencia Salvador. Police in a statement said that investigations are being carried out into the circumstances surrounding the death of the baby, which occurred at about 8 pm on Saturday.

Police said that investigations so far revealed that Salvador was in the care of her father, who subsequently left her unattended. She was later found lying motionless by another relative. The baby was taken to the Lethem Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The police are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination, the release said.

    Arnold You’ll be surprised some MEN do a better Job at taking care of their children, than us WOMEN, When it comes to neglect gender is not an excuse, this man is just not a responsible indivudial that’s all.
