Purpose…most Bajans don’t dislike Gyanese. We have a few ignorant people who have never travelled and thus have a backward view of the world today. Barbados is a great place to live and work, we must just focus on what is just and humane. We should love our neighbours and understand that there is so much to learn from our diverse cultures.

I’m almost afraid for Barbados. They remind me of the story of the Titanic. I pay no attention to their rude comments or frequent bad-mouthing of Guyanese nationals because life experiences have thought me two things;
1. Be careful who you step on on your way up because you will certainly pass them on your way down.
2. Be careful of the bridges you curse because you may have to cross that same bridge again.
I’m not in anyway advocating “eye for an eye” on speaking gloom on Barbados BUT(bold and underlined)Life is a cycle. You do not remain one way forever….When the bajans were flocking to Guyana in Droves, we did not foresee that our turn would come so Bajans need to take stock of themselves….Life is unpredictable!!

Corey… When the crisis hit both Guyana & Barbados will suffer/feel it… But the big difference is… we Guyanese will persevere.. we are accustom to hardwork, hardships, punishments etc etc we went through worst than what is expected to come… our ability to work hard and our resolve is incomparable when it comes to most people in they Caribbean…. let them do survey to find out who is the most hardworking and you will see the outcome…. Besides if they cant make it in Barbados or anyway else they could always come back home and survived easily only difference is they will not be able to accumulate or save as much as abroad the sole reason for leaving…. The thing that bother these people is they see a Guyanese come to their country for a couple of years and they make it.. while they are there all their life and cant even show progress for themselves…. BOTTOM LINE GUYANESE WORK HARD WHERE EVER WE GO…

there are prostitution all over the world and it is all about personal choices. What about the upscale Madams in places like the US and largers countries where the economy is better? They still do undesireable things to put themselves throught college, medical school or what not.

It is the oldest profession and it is not limited to just one group of folks. So now everyone is the expert on how and where Guyanese women sell themselves. What is this – that would mean that someone would have to be with each and every Guyanese woman in order to make such a general statements factual.

I always say – everyone has an opinion and thank goodness there are just opinions.
