Christians to P.A.R.T.Y

Christians will get the opportunity to ‘P.A.R.T.Y’ tonight when the dancehallgospel.com and the Turning Point Promotions hold their third event catering for the socialisation of those who are not comfortable with the normal party atmosphere.

Slated for the Ocean View poolside, organisers have since promised that the night will be filled “with clean entertainment, games, music and much more.”

And of course it is not your regular party. As a matter of fact it is ‘The Holy Ghost P.A.R.T.Y’, which is the acronym for Praise and Reverence to Yahweh.

It is expected that the event would be headlined by popular gospel singers Kester D, Eddie Neblett and Solid Youth. Also expected to be in the house are DJ Evangelist from Toronto, Canada and Craig C from Jamaica. There will also be live videotaping from the popular television gospel show, Things Gospel.

One of the reasons behind the hosting of the event according to a press release from the organizers, is that “Christians have nowhere much to go and fellowship where the atmosphere can be glorifying to Jesus.” They went on to say, “If you go to a regular eatery to fellowship the music and conduct of many is out of order and we cannot afford to compromise our walk with the Lord.”

And at the event there will be no alcoholic beverages and a “dress code of fashionable and modest attire is in effect.”

To enter patrons will have to purchase a $500 ticket and this can be had at Swansea on America Street and Everything Music located at the corner of Orange Walk and Charlotte Streets, Bourda.

The previous events organized by the group were at the Main Big Lime last Boxing Day and at the Seawall Bandstand on Easter Monday.
