Guyana Publications Inc appointments

Following the passing of Guyana Publications Inc (GPI) Chairman and Stabroek News Editor-in-Chief David de Caires, the GPI board announces the appointments of Anand Persaud as Editor-in-Chief and Cheryl Springer as Editor of the daily newspaper.

Persaud has been with Stabroek News for nineteen years, serving as Editor for the last fifteen of them.

Springer joined the newspaper as a sub-editor in 1995, and was later promoted to Assistant Editor.

An announcement will be made shortly about the new appointments to the board of GPI.
